Something you need to understand about wildfires: they can burn hard and fast. So fast. This fire in LA is no different. That wind is acting like a bellow, and as anyone who has been a victim of these fires can tell you, sometimes you can’t move fast enough.

For those evacuating with pets in LA: Hilton’s Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton, Tru and Canopy brands are all 100% pet friendly. Even cats! And a lot of hotels are waiving pet fees atm. Good on u Hilton! Pun intended: that’s hot.
