Me gustaría pensar que quienes sufrimos por el gane de Laura, también vamos a trabajar para mitigar este descalabro. Que nos vamos a afiliar a algún movimiento social o partido para ser parte las transformaciones que queremos para el país, y que no nos convertirnos en gente quejosa solamente.

Just got gassed pretty good at the labor union anti-ICE protest in Portland. Massive march, 5-10k strong. Vibes were very much liberal rather than radical. Lots of kids and older folks.
They gassed the whole crowd as soon as it marched on ICE, in broad daylight.

Completamente de acuerdo en que todas las candidaturas se pueden criticar y se les debe exigir mucho, en especial las de partidos históricamente tibios.
PERO maes, existe también la posibilidad de que tengamos que votar en contra de alguien. Puede costar, pero es posible que se tenga que hacer.

Completamente de acuerdo en que todas las candidaturas se pueden criticar y se les debe exigir mucho, en especial las de partidos históricamente tibios.

Basically, if you're condemning the "riots" but not putting any action towards condemning the conditions that have provided the ingredients for the environment, then all you're doing is abdicating responsibility and assuaging your own guilt instead of doing what you can to fight these injustices

Since it's MLK Jr.'s birthday and MLK Day is Monday, I'd encourage any politicians claiming "Don't give em a show" or "You're not helping" to read King's speech on "The Other America" and reflect on it — specifically how he felt about riots
elected democrats who want their constituents to remain non-violent in their protests of these abuses must actually offer a path for ending the abuses non-violently. they currently are not as a party and it’s a major problem.
