Bluesky is winning because both twitter and threads have gone out of their way to make their platforms inhospitable to reputable journalists and news. @kattenbarge.bsky.social reports:

Journalists flock to Bluesky as X becomes increasingly 'toxic'
Journalists are finding more readers and less hate on Bluesky than on the platform they used to know as Twitter.

In today's ep, we take stock of all the things we're grateful for. Cap gives Ryan three minutes to say his piece on the new rise of fascism before they turn to Turkey-day topics.

Somewhere along the way, Ryan recounts his run in with the Turkish mob during a college trip to Istanbul.

Why should I say this? Why go to the trouble of overtly stating I have zero tolerance for Nazis?

Because something that has gotten us into this current mess is some bad tradition, some bad theology, and some people just not knowing better.
I don’t just have “cultural differences” from Nazis. I don’t have any tolerance for Nazis. Nazis are bad and I’m done listening to evil because of any supposed social nicety.

If I see a Nazi? I’m at the very least chucking rocks.
