This is one of my larger artworks at A4 size. Will make a real statement in a small room, or a very special gift.

My favourite YouTube channel has made a new episode. British Cryptids are stylistic documentaries from the 70s on ghosts, monsters and folklore. Think Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World meets the first series of Look Around You. youtu.be/XTTw5jquP-k?...

Imagining the alternate universe in which Angels Egg got a UK VHS release in the 90s, somehow resulting in one of those extremely British licensed microcomputer games in which you have to collect 800 bottles for some reason only tangentially related to the actual movie.

Great to be on Whenua Hou last week, helping attach GPS tags to #kakapo ahead of the breeding season. We caught up with Rakiura - whom we're hoping will use the same nest for the 7th time. That's unusual - kākāpō normally don't re-use nests. #conservation #parrots

Behir #MonsterManual

Lightning arcs through the cavern as the behir slithers forward, twelve claws scraping stone. The ranger realizes too late - its hunger is for dragons, but anything warm will do.

The Possum that likes to live dangerously is still nesting its hollow close to where the Powerful Owls roost. Maybe it's a good tactic in that they always fly off somewhere else at dusk?

I'm going with the #BirdoftheDay alternative theme of #ducklings. These tiny babies are Fulvous Whistling Ducks. The parents were extremely protective - fiercely driving away any bird that approached.

If you want butterflies in your garden next year, then try some single flowered dahlias like this one. We grow them from seed every year a packet of seeds is 50 plants. We mix them with native flowers, such as foxglove and Columbine. Nice?
