I’m giving away a signed copy of my book Nature’s Acre, delivered worldwide.

To enter, reply with one small thing you do (or notice) that helps nature where you live.
A bird, a plant, leaving something untidy, a corner of a garden, anything!

I’ll pick one reply at random in 48 hours.

I don’t remember much from my geography lessons but I remember the first time I was ever told about climate change. It was 1985ish and my teacher said by the time we were middle aged the UK would be hotter and wetter. (When’s the rain stopping?)

This guy is completely unsuitable for this job in my humble opinion. How did he get this role? What were they thinking?

Just reminded me of when I volunteered to build a recycled plastic bottle-house at my kids school 15 years ago.
Teaches not only sustainability, but agriscience, thermodynamics, all whilst standing outside far from a screen. Win, win and more win!

Every school should have a garden.
Every child should learn about soil, plants, insects, and how ecosystems actually work.

I don’t think this is radical.

Do you?

Unbelievable. I think he’s mixed up the job title there and he thinks it’s “minister against climate action”. Nobody without a proper set of green policies will be getting my vote ever. Who’s with me?

This meant a great deal to me.

“During the COVID lockdown, a family discovers the magical world of an old Victorian walled garden. Gardeners will love this book.”

Nature’s Acre is a book about small places, written in hope.
