My rule "if you rewrite the sentence five times and it's still not working, just cut it" is serving me well tonight.

Only relevant to Blender/3d art folks: I learned UV mapping with seams and whatnot, so you have one big pancake texture.

Then I see this tutorial where the person is just cube projecting this shit at random, sometimes from the same spot. I didn't know you could do that!

Writing an issue of something that is basically one long fight scene with some character beats in it, and I tell you: the most difficult part of writing genre fiction is not plot or dialogue or thematic structure. It's choreography. Moving bodies through space in a way that tells a story.

What holds you back isn't your inability to learn theory.

It's a lack of:
- Clarity of your goal & WHY you want it
- Belief in yourself
- A simplified roadmap
- More action, less overthinking
- More objective analysis of your mistakes

One lesson I've taken from this industry is to be wary of creators who are only excited about themselves and their own work. I want you to love what you make! But what other writers set your imagination on fire? Who else do you celebrate? Who do you show up for?
