Ren gave him a minute, another. And then, when it was clear that Akechi wasn’t going to clarify, he said, “Explain it to me, then. Why can’t you work with us? What’s stopping us from dismantling the conspiracy together?” Akechi scoffed. Ren sighed and, even though it felt like a supremely bad idea, he got up, crossed the attic floor, and sat on the bed next to Akechi. Ignored his flinch, the flash of fear in his eyes before they shuttered, his whole expression shutting down, like the tenseness of his body wasn’t still giving him away. Ren licked his lips, and said, “Goro.” Akechi’s closed expression twisted, mouth twitching like he was fighting a smile or, more likely, a frown. “I did not give you permission to call me that,” he said, tone flat. “You didn’t,” Ren admitted, and decided he wanted to live dangerously. “But I’m a thief, remember?” Akechi’s mouth twitched again, and Ren was hopeful that had been a suppressed smile, instead of a frown. “Goro,” Ren said, again. And, when Akechi didn’t immediately complain, he continued, “We fought together in January. Nothing has changed, from then.” “Everything has changed,” Akechi replied, but Ren thought he sounded tired.

sixthtone 亮曹 陵操 a bunch of ibuprofen on cao cao's tomb: One of the more visible examples appeared in central Henan province. At the tomb of Cao Cao, a warlord said to suffer from migraines and a central figure in the classic Chinese novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," visitors began leaving ibuprofen. One visitor left four different kinds, telling domestic media it was just in case one didn't work, or the warlord had built up a tolerance. As the gifts began to pile up, museum staff set up a small shelf near the tomb to collect them, along with handwritten letters addressed to the warlord.
