Making it past your mid-30s is a mind-fuck. After everything that’s happened, after being so full of wonder and awe, it’s just….gone. My fucks are gone; all of them. My husband used the words “feral” and “menace” to describe the woman he’s watched me turn into. We like this spicier, funnier version.

Seeing all of the CPS teachers and @ctulocal1.bsky.social members and their happiness and relief is…just everything I wanted for them and their students. I think that the firing of CPS CEO Pedro Martinez will push some much needed motivation and excitement to the fight for a fair contract!
