This sh*t goes so deep. We invented country music. They stole it, excluded us, and most recently spent the better part of a year telling us a Black woman from Houston wasn’t country enough. Even she was shocked when she rightfully won that Grammy.

Back in 2017, Shopify told me it was going to shut down my shop because I sold items deemed “harmful” to them. Turns out kojic acid in my moisturizer was flagged as dangerous. I appealed. They told me I was wrong and I had to find another payment processor in 3 days.
