Art is not to be enjoyed! Get in and watch cinema!!
I watched Southland Tales per @williammparis.bsky.social's recommendation last night and, as promised, it was completely unhinged and I loved everything about its radical commitment to being totally incomprehensible and baffling. art is so cool I love human beings

“Much about what Ezra Klein argues is objectionable,”—including “the appeal to debate as ’persuasion,’ which confuses the mere appearance of giving and responding to reasons with the substance of good-faith rational inquiry,” writes columnist @olufemiotaiwo.bsky.social.

Haha well i am working on a series which is gonna discuss Hayek at length so I disagree! We live in Hayek's world, whether we like it or not. All the interesting parts have nothing to do with his conflict with Keynes tho
theres nothing important to learn from hayek
new chotiner interview with sunstein going well

this isn't hard to understand. the left believes in consistent things like 'everyone should have healthcare' and 'human rights are good' while the right has to encompass everything from traditional family values conservatism to overt nazi shit to seed oil antivax conspiracism and gamergate incels
