So, my club surprised me with a Sigi King Shorty in our club colours this week.
Seeing as I don't compete in longsword I've always wanted a sparring safe longsword (rather than the ubiquitous federswert) for teaching and club sparring. This thing is fits my requirements perfectly. Beyond honoured.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first rapier tournament and landed a couple sweet inquartatas. I got rolled otherwise but learnt a lot. Definitely found my new area of hyperfocus 😆 The only downsides are a minor but annoying injury and that I need to retire my relatively unused rapier due to a bad heat treat
