No, they are only alienating a minority of entitled degenerates who think that chasing animals to exhaustion and throwing them live to be ripped apart by a pack of dogs is a bit of a laugh. This should have been confined to history just like bear baiting, dog fighting, and hare coursing long ago.

My latest: in which I visit Oxfordshire's 'Rubbish Mountain', buy a Twirl in the country's most violent Sainsbury's, and explore the absolutely dismal response of the Environment Agency.
Rubbish Mountain
A gigantic pile of rubbish was dumped in a field in Oxfordshire. The response sums up everything wrong with British bureaucracy.

Yet again, the government has succumbed to commercial lobbying.

3 years after Putin invaded Ukraine, I spent 24 hours with combat medics on the Ukrainian frontline.

Their courage, compassion, dedication & skill are astounding.

If Labour approves the Rosebank oil field, it would be the final straw for many of its green-minded voters. It might appease corporate power for a moment, but in doing so it will lose far more than it gains.
The government seems to be on a self-destructive streak. Now's the time to rethink.

England water industry corruption:

March 2023: Ofwat said it will "stop the payment of dividends if they would risk the company’s financial resilience".

Debt-laden Thames Water still paid £196m.

Dec 2024: Thames fined £18m. ZERO PAID.

Thames allowed to choose what and when it will pay.
The water industry shows how the state indulges corporations to the detriment of society
Since 1989, water companies have been the subject of over 1,100 criminal convictions, but governments are content for them to control the industry.
