I haven't watched nan minute of #LoveIslandUSA but I know who Olandria is. She is stunning! But more importantly, major props on her post-show moves. Editorial fashion magazine spreads, Reebok, Shea Moisture and so many more. She is making the most of her opportunities. So happy to see it.

I know the rush is to jump to “this result is why Democrats must run x type candidate” but, to me, tonight is a clear example of why we need all types of candidates doing what is necessary in their respective areas.

We need Mamdani, Spanberger, Sherrill, and Newsom right now for diff reasons.

BREAKING: Democrat Johnny DuPree has flipped a Republican-held Mississippi Senate district in a special election.

DuPree was previously the mayor of Hattiesburg.

His win imperils the Mississippi Senate GOP's narrow supermajority.

Christmas lights should 100% be up before thanksgiving. They keep us warm rolling into the colder months.
So just to clarify, Christmas trees go up tomorrow on the 1st, right?

Weird how people see SNAP as “tax issue” and not a “subsidizing billionaires” issue. If minimum wage was higher and companies were paying a fare wage, far less people would even need SNAP.
SNAP is not the reason your taxes are high.

SNAP recipients don’t need to “just go get a job”.

Most of them work. The rest are disabled, elderly, children or caregivers.

People need & deserve assistance

Your taxes fund wars and tax cuts for the ultra rich

Be mad about that

I’m trying to switch to Apple Music from Spotify but whyyy does Apple have a separate app for podcasts? Instead of rolling out a new phone, Apple needs to work on consolidating these apps

We’re told the economy is fine because GDP keeps rising. But Canada’s growth is powered by rent extraction, not production. With household debt at 150% of GDP, the system expands only by charging more for what already exists. This isn’t a recovery—it’s a managed decline.
Canadians are on year three of a people’s recession
The disconnect between big economic indicators and Canadians’ day-to-day experience is a gap our political leaders seem unable or unwilling to bridge. Indeed, parliamentarians have gotten in the habit...
