With everything going on in our country, it's so hard to draw right now. It is the opposite of inspiration. It's desperation. I sketch, I doodle Ideas down, but nothing gets any further. I have a vacation in a few weeks. Maybe then I can shut down enough to be creative again.

I'm a resident of the Twin Cities. A small team and I spent 3 days sculpting this for a competition/festival in extremely cold temperatures. We were disqualified for political messaging and one of the organizers defaced it. I have no regrets and I have never been more proud to be Minnesotan. (cont)

yesterday was a rough day at work. prep for the freeze, people loosing their minds, including coworkers. I smashed my finger in a door then later blacked out briefly. the heat and fatigue caught up to me. but I'm fine now. Watching @prawnzo.bsky.social Prawnzo's stream was also a much needed break.

A LGBTQ+ friendly business that is publicly anti-Ice gets targeted harassment. Specifically so they can now know the names and addresses of everyone who worked there.
DHS employees entered our store this afternoon and served us a Notice of Inspection, demanding copies of I9 forms for each employee.
In 27 years as shopkeepers, we have never been subjected to this type of investigation.

This is important. Someone I know was hurt there. Her only sin was being near a protest. And they attacked her. These protests send clear messages to local and national politicians, but also the world that is watching.
