in 2024, I challenged myself to draw an image daily. I was new to digital and was having to relearn techniques and refresh older ones. I did it though. However it meant a LOT of experimentation. New styles to play with, and new species. Gorillas for instance. Here is a color of one of those.

They say not to get to ahead of yourself. But I am really excited about this. My Bluesky account is (at time of this post) Just 5 followers away from 500. For me this is a huge deal. I've really poured energy into this account as a place to share my work. So here is a celebratory piece.

I wont toss my movies or my books. Because I paid for those ages ago. The stories are valid even if the author is devolving into a piece of living crap. But I won't pay into her substantial coffers any further. It saddens me the obsession some people have over other people's genitals.

Personal Demons: Fatigue. The exhaustion comes not from a place of laziness, but selflessness to a fault. Sometimes we must take care of ourselves, putting our fatigue to rest and allowing it to get what it needs without giving away too much to others.
