We watch the steps to authoritarian RW govt in the US but we are not immune. In Ontario, Doug Ford is removing locally elected school boards and replacing them with his appointees. He has already been replacing members of the board responsible for judicial appointments with his partisan loyalists.

Just watched Meghan Markle’s Season 2, Episode 1. It’s the treat I didn’t know I needed. Down to earth and fun, while passing on cooking tips, etc. The foursome of Meghan, David Chang, Daniel Martin and Christina Tosi has a great vibe. Hope we’ll see them together again.

But when he lost in Carleton & may lose in Battle River-Crowfoot it’s a big issue.

Let's change the rules so he can win. Democracy be damned!

Netanyahu deserves the worst punishment a human being can suffer. He is a psychopath with no conscience. How do we in the west explain our countries’ support - and our silence - as he commits evil after evil?
If what’s happening in Gaza were happening in Israel, would we be silent?

At Juno Beach I realized that the democratic values that I had taken for granted didn't just happen.
They were paid for at an immense cost of lives and sacrifice.
Would we be willing to pay the same sacrifice if the darkness descended again?
