Just watched Meghan Markle’s Season 2, Episode 1. It’s the treat I didn’t know I needed. Down to earth and fun, while passing on cooking tips, etc. The foursome of Meghan, David Chang, Daniel Martin and Christina Tosi has a great vibe. Hope we’ll see them together again.

I’m so sad for the residents in Saskatchewan and Manitoba who are losing their homes. I pray for the safety of all humans and animals in the endangered areas. (Photo credit: CBC.).

Taking a wellness break from politics:
Our tree peonies are gorgeous this spring! The abundant rain has helped. #gardening #peonies

“The…Pope goes to the Room of Tears to get their vestments on for the first time…they call it that because the magnitude of the papacy hits them at that moment.

Only one of the 133 cardinals does not go home…Pope Leo XIV will not be going home. He's now the Pope & will be for the rest of his life.“

The white trillium (trillia?) seem larger this year - both leaves & flowers. Dedicating this to our prime minister Mark Carney, whose cool, calm & collected manner is a joy to behold.

Hoping, praying and doing my part to activate Canadian values of doing something to help each other. Vote Carney!

Feb 15 is Canada’s national flag day. It’s also an important anniversary for “the maple leaf”. But we don’t need to wait till then - especially given the nastiness from the government south of us. Let’s fly the flag!

I’m here admiring this beautiful garden, when I suddenly realized: That’s my garden! 😀 I swear: some days… #gardening

#gardening #hellebore I nearly killed this poor hellebore with neglect but now it’s blooming - 1 year after it came in a Christmas potted arrangement. Put outside in little soil, mostly unwatered, and squirrels kept knocking its plastic pot over. But it grew buds and bloomed.

More trees! All these trees are fruit trees, by the way. Maybe you and @dharghan.bsky.social will recognize the kinds of fruit trees.

Just got this from the co-founder of the Gopie School in Malawi. One of many trees planted there as part of the Sussex Great Forest, it has grown a lot!

One of the most delightful colours in our autumn garden comes from the Bloodgood Japanese maple. Ubiquitous but beautiful.#gardening

The Seiryu Japanese maple finally bloomed 2 weeks ago. Stayed green, then turned this lovely pink-orange. Various sites say it should be yellow, red, orange and even 'purplish', but ours is pink-orange! #gardening
