Even accounting for bots, twitter has 3 times as many users as Bluesky & 16 times the number of active users compared to Bluesky.
I think one of the main reasons Twitter has persisted & Bluesky has not overtaken it while also having very slow growth is that some people love the Drama & the Ragebait. People want to ratio other people, have constant discourse about random things & to get unreasonable mad about it.
