A Series of Trigonal Arylimido Iron Complexes and the Influence of Oxidation State and Steric Demand on Reactivity
We describe the reaction between the linear iron(I/II) silylamides [FeL2]0,– (L = N{Dipp}SiMe3) and aryl azides N3R with different steric demand (R = Ph, 2-Me-C6H4 (Tol), 2,4-Me2-C6H3 (Xyl), 2,6-iPr2-...

Happy to announce our newest imido iron compound in @chemcomm.rsc.org : pubs.rsc.org/en/content/a....
It was a very tedious work with a lot of headscratching in-between due to its high reactivity (hmds co-ligands!)...In cooperation with @akmeyergoettingen.bsky.social and @cutsail-lab.bsky.social.
The Flexible Behaviour of a Trigonal Arylimido Iron Complex
A trigonal arylimido iron complex is reported which is found in an intermediate spin state. The iron bound imido unit is electronically flexible and acts as nucleophile, reductant, or H atom abstracto...

Second that. The same could be said for @rsc.org journals. It is a pain to have a number of different possible social media platforms. But others are more flexible such as @angewandtechemie.bsky.social and other journals from Wiley.
Hey @nature.com What's up with your share buttons? Can we please also get 🦋 and 🦣 options to not exclusively promote the network of the guy who has done more than most to harm US science?
