trump's backing of the far right worldwide is an existential threat.

This is merely one loophole, I worked with a senior Tory (unfortunately) and there are many loopholes that are costing the UK billions. Close them and we would not have to worry about future taxes on the rest of us.

We’re doing something that hasn’t been done in decades: providing low-interest loans to build the affordable homes Londoners desperately need.

This £1.5 billion investment from our new City Hall Developer Investment Fund will help kickstart delivery.

When you start listing it, this government have already done a lot. The media are only interested in what causes division - it feeds the algorithm.

🇮🇳 India is going green faster than 🇨🇳 China did at the same income level. Cheap #solar ☀️, #wind 🌬️, and #batteries 🔋 are allowing the world’s largest country to bypass a fossil-heavy growth phase ⛏️. As Bill McKibben notes, costs have flipped so dramatically that renewables now undercut coal itself 📉🔥.

Cheap electrotech is enabling India to industrialise without the long fossil detour taken by China and the West.

Lithuanian Olympic uniforms by Issey Miyake for the 1992 games in Barcelona. This was Lithuania's first time in the Olympics after gaining independence from the Soviet Union. Fabric was cut and shaped using heat, not scissors or sewing machines.

Those who know me—which I suppose is very few on Bluesky—probably guessed I’d write at least one album of love songs as Hounds.

This song, and in fact this whole album, is for my wife... the most profoundly good person I've ever known or will ever know.

Goodnight, all. Sleep well and wake brave.

Buckley now says he supports the feminist advances of the 1970s & 1980s before it went too far. His book is more sweeping in its opposition

Buckley's book

"feminism is a con and has been perpetrated upon society by ungrateful women and weak men".

"Each chapter lists gender discrepancies that show the benefits & privileges women experience in society".

"Even the most evil man in history killed female Jews at half the rate of males"

So far Starmer is the only person I have heard apologising to the victims. Or even mentioning them. Not the press. Not the leader of the opposition (a woman), no one in the other parties. All too busy making it all about them. Well shame on them.
Pity the media in U.K. ( Mason, LK, Rigby , Channel 4 .. Guardian etc ) , the opposition parties and the FEW Labour MPs making their own naked ambition to remove Starmer so clear , aren’t as reasoned and straightforward! She shames them all !!

The wave of support for Keir Starmer has left me emotional this morning.

It feels Like our country has woken from a drugged slumber that was poisoned by populists and racism.

We’ve changed overnight. It’s impressive.

Great to meet architect George Clarke at Wingspan Walk in Tottenham Hale, a new social housing development from Haringey Council delivering hundreds of genuinely affordable homes.

A strong example of what can be achieved when we invest in building the homes Londoners need.

I think the Media misjudged the #SolidarityWithStarmer in the electorate. They believed their own hype. Which is the trouble with being in a bubble.

People feel better off and can see money being invested in our Country. People are not mugs. They can see Starmer is decent and on their side.

If Starmer/Labour is forced out you can kiss goodbye to:

Improved NHS
Better pay
Reducing mortgages
Protected rents
Improved towns
More funding for Police, hospitals and schools
Better Start Centres
Rejoining the EU

Don’t tell me in a couple of years you didn’t realise.

#OnThisDay 108 years ago, some women over 30 were granted the vote. It would take another decade of fighting to secure universal suffrage.

I’m forever grateful to the suffragettes and suffragists who fought for our rights. It is thanks to them that I serve as the 426th woman MP.
