We hope the good people of #SanFrancisco will forgive us for adapting a song about their city in 1967 to address the shocking and tragic events in #Minnesota in recent weeks. This is dedicated to Renée Good and Alex Pretti, and in solidarity. Our version is called "Minnesota" ❤️

Very valid questions
Farage is named by Steve Bannon in an email in the Epstein files as their man in the UK, and says that 'Brexit is just the beginning'.
Farage is clearly toxic for the British people, but right wing media, including BBC continue to ignore the mountains of evidence that prove his treachery.

Nobody deserves a Nobel peace prize more than the people of Minnesota and Minneapolis. In freezing, bitter, hideous weather that would wipe out most of us in 10 minutes, they’re still out there, marching their hearts out
The people of Minneapolis are showing breathtaking courage. Facing down armed federal goons to protect their neighbors isn't just brave; it’s legendary.

It's worth watching. I must say I can't shake the eerie feeling that I'm looking at an AMOC-collapsed future, not the past...

There's a point, well below a billion dollars, where the amount of money you have lets you rid yourself of anyone who can be a check on your worst impulses, and replace them with people who tell you those worst impulses are somehow valorous. Rare is the billionaire with someone to tell them "no."
You can look at the Epstein files and conclude that only bad people have billions of dollars, but I think it’s also possible that having billions of dollars cauterizes your humanity

On the broader point made by the PM’s spokesperson here- about govt wanting reform to Lords’ procedures- I’m unclear whether they mean they want to reform the system so titles don’t require legislation to be removed; or whether they think processes for expulsion from House need change; or both

What the BBC’s diversity review reveals about modern Britain
Representation - how much a group is present - can be captured in data, but portrayal - how groups are depicted - is qualitative and subjective
