To serve his country, Donald Trump should leave the race | Editorial Board
Biden had a horrible night Thursday. But the debate about the debate is misplaced. The only person who should withdraw from the race is Trump.

Don't worry kids, it's just an awkward coincidence that major news outlets like @washingtonpost.com and @thedailybeast.bsky.social are replacing their top editors with right-wing propagandists before the most fraught election in American history.
NEW: Daily Beast editor in chief Tracy Connor is stepping down, according to a staff memo from CEO Ben Sherwood. Hugh Dougherty, formerly of NYPost, Daily Mail, Telegraph, will be the new executive editor. (via Max Tani, Semafor)

This is why book bans are on such a steep incline. The far right extremists who organize them are capitalizing on easily inflamed bigotries to defund institutions of public learning bc it's the most effective and cheapest way to cling to their power.
Poor people use libraries. Rich people shut them down because they don't *want* poor people to read.

Just fold the studio into Disney and kill it already. Make Toy Story sequels till the sun fucking burns out. Love how this shift conveniently happened when more woman/POC were really pushing to direct their own stories. Defining their experiences as not "universal" is saying the quiet part aloud.

Yes. If you commit 34 felonies by filing false business records to cover up election interference, you too can be convicted by a jury of your peers via the due process of our criminal justice system.

GOP campaigns staffed with young operatives who are into Nazi stuff is bad actually. Very charitable explanation of "just trolling" is still quite bad.
Do you know what they called people who weren't into Hitler's worst ideas but backed him because they liked how it bothered people they hate?
Nazis.

They've done it! Voyager 1 is talking to NASA again. After 5 months of absolutely heroic efforts from the JPL team, they isolated a single faulty memory chip in one of the onboard computers. The coding workaround sounds both cunning and devious, and it's worked. 🥳🧪🔭
