This is 100% disturbing, over-reaching, dictator bullshit.
A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today.

It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files.

Just wow.

I have writer things I’m supposed to be doing. I also have the newest #dresdenfiles book. I wonder how long I’m going to be able to make this willpower roll…

ICE lied. What else is new?
Marimar Martinez was shot by Border Patrol five times.

DHS accused her of being a domestic terrorist.

She went to court to get the body cam footage released.

It shows Agent Charles Exum driving with his gun drawn.

Saying “do something b*tch”.

Ramming her car.

Shooting her.

It shows DHS lied.

This is the 38th time that the U.S. military has unlawfully killed civilians on the orders of Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump. At least 130 people — never charged with crimes, their identities unknown to their executioners — are now dead.

Score one for the system actually working in spite of the Administration's best efforts... such as they are.
Those consummate bastards (Bondi Pirro et al)

Those consummate heroes (the citizens of the Grand Jury).

An event bringing shame and pride in equal measure.

Former Washington Post journalists have launched a GoFundMe to help repatriate fired staff members who are effectively stranded in foreign countries.

One of the richest men in the world fired them from the paper and didn’t even pay to ensure they got home.

Well, the Administration seems to be consistent on some things…

I had a chance to see a play I wasn't familiar with before. If you get the chance, and you're at all into D&D, I can't recommend "She Kills Monsters" enough. Great writing, phenomenal understanding of the geek culture, and some impressive shifts from comedy to dealing with loss and grief.

So much for Freedom of the Press. The current Administration really does seem to be trying to utterly ignore the Bill of Rights

Wonder Man: Matinee
They seem to be going for Hollywood satire with “Wonder Man,” a character not known to many who don’t read the comics.
