🇨🇦 puts country over party.

You’d never see this kind of unity stateside.

That’s the difference: a multi-party parliamentary system encourages moderation. A polarized two-party system breeds division.

In recent polls Liberals & Carney surge in popularity among Canadians

68% of Canadians approve of the way Carney is handling his job as Prime Minister

67% disapprove of the job Poilievre is doing ,

which means Carney leads Poilievre by 70 points

Funny how 🇨🇦 treats quality healthcare for all as a basic right, while 🇺🇸 politics often frames it around who “deserves” access.
I've lived with a 2-tier healthcare system in the UK

The private system steals doctors from the public system causing wait times to get longer

Alberta already has a doctor shortage, imagine how bad it would be if a significant portion of them left to work privately

The UCP’s plan to tackle wait times by introducing private pay in our health-care system is a step backward.
✅ It worsens access
✅ It widens inequity
✅ It jeopardizes quality & health outcomes

This has been tried before, & makes wait-times worse.

OMG! Conservatives in Canada are collaborating, partnering with, and compromising with their Liberal opposition... It’s like they serve the whole population and not just billionaire special interests.
Doug Ford: "My champion Wab Kinew, he's 100% behind it. Another champion, Premier Eby, as well ... total different political stripes than I am but we're all sticking together."

I see Progressive Conservatives in the 4th largest economy in North America being grouped with Liberals in the #1 economy in NA… Because PCs side with Reagan free trade over MAGA instability.
Q: Are you upset at Premier Ford for running this ad?

CARNEY: In any complicated, high-stakes negotiation, you can get unexpected twists and turns, and you have to keep your cool during those situations. It doesn't pay to be upset—emotions don't carry you very far.

I see 🇨🇦 Conservatives arguing economics with 🇺🇸 Conservatives

One is evidence-based, the other has new theories about things that caused depressions in the past…
WELKER: Why is the president setting trade policy based on a TV ad he doesn't like?

BESSENT: This is a kind of propaganda against US citizens. It's psyops

She’s half right.

It wasn’t ‘get rid of this guy.’

It was: ‘I’ll back your agenda + give you a distraction, you change FCC rules so the Disney-Tegna monopoly sails through and billionaires cash in.’

It’s not personal with Kimmel and Disney - just business.

#cdnpoli #media #monopoly
Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night comedians have certainly said things about me that I found offensive, even outrageous.

It never crossed my mind to call up the networks and say, "Hey, get rid of this guy."

Because that's not how America works.
