Sorry for being a broken record but we're never gonna Fix Video Games while all our CEOs are credulous dopes that don't know where video games come from or how they're made.
Imma be real, the only things I’ve been excited for with the Game Awards for the past like 3-4 years is anything related to cool new indie game announcements (and a few occasional left-field revivals).
I can do without seeing those things (or the awards altogether) live, and I think y’all can too.

I long for a culture that allows more room for craft and care, where you don't have to race to finish. Where you go off on tangents and explore dead ends. Where ink and paint are allowed time to dry.
Where deadlines allow for reasonable flex, and projects aren't judged on profitability comparisons.
