Hi! You may have heard on my stream but im officially announcing that I've been working on my own open source stream assistant.
I've actually been working on it shortly after I left the SAMMI team, as I had so much I wanted to do for SAMMI but ultimately things kept getting in the way.

heres another night of me listening to that recording and wondering why I knew something was coming to attack my most stable-feeling year yet, making by the end of it, my most unstable, loneliest, hopeless start to a new year.

I had no reason to think anything bad would happen beyond maybe some minor setbacks at the time. It was early 2025, arguably the best time of the year for me that I still remember fondly
but deep down I felt something tug me enough to want to play that song

hi yes im a former dev who was the main project lead before I left, im working on a successor with sammi data importing; only talking about it with my patrons atm! but yes itll be a long ways away since im doing it solo and its a lot to take on

Its a platform for it's developers, just as much as it is a platform for standard users who don't know a lick of code. As a user you shouldn't have to touch a single line of code, and as a developer making integrations, you shouldn't have to expect your users to touch a single line of code either.

A sacrifice of more system resources than i'd like has to be made to support such a flexible yet stable infrastructure like that, all while trying to be cross platform.
I apologize in advance, but, hopefully this means you can close OTHER apps on your computer since this app can do it for you!

-other apps alongside this one. This app is really designed to be a platform where other developers can create easily tweakable widgets, integrations, and really, it lets developers create something that has a built in scripting system with the drag and drop blocks for their users.

My own "stream-assistant-like-app" will be a bit heavy to run, mainly on the RAM side (trying to optimize it to the absolute best of my ability!) but the reasoning behind it is to provide as much flexibility offering easy to use and powerful tools as well as solid stability, to avoid having to run-
