Something like this is extremely difficult to develop, but I have a vision that I believe no one else will make come true.

I didnt announce this earlier because I saw no reason to. But after seeing people scramble after the recent sammi debacle, I felt like I needed to give some hope to folk.

I will no longer be talking about this project publically, and this will be the only mention of it.

This is not an immediate thing. I am currently working on LandiTube, which is my 2d vtuber engine. this is not my new app, my new app doesnt have a name.

Please do not mix the two.

I want to finish LandiTube first, then work on my new app, so I can use what I learn to support the new app.

The plugin ecosystem for this app will focus heavily on being able to extend critical parts of the app, and will run in a nodejs-based environment with a dedicated development toolkit to support developers.

The IDE (UI) of the app will be separate from the runtime, meaning, you can update and use new features designed to improve your experience making UGC in the app, without potentially compromising your delicate stream setup. You update each independently from one another.

This kind of thing will be hard to develop, as I have to test SAMMI to figure out exactly how every feature works and try to mimic it to the best of my ability and it will never be 100%.

A lot of my effort will focus on the actual runtime intended for use with the app.

The app will feature "runtimes", which parse and run UGC. To support SAMMI folk, I intend on writing a "SAMMI-Compatible runtime" to allow users to import their SAMMI content and slowly adopt the new flashy runtime that will be actively updated.
