Instead of waiting for (redacted or doctored) Epstein files, media should publish court docs alleging that Trump raped Katie Johnson at Epstein's home when she was 13.

Why ignore what alleged victims have to say while giving adjudicated or alleged perps unlimited air time?

Claims that North West Shelf (NWS) extension are necessary for firming electricity are pure gaslighting.

NWS is about EXPORTS

It exports more of WA’s domestic gas reserves than it supplies to WA.

NWS = LESS gas for WA

Last year, Japan resold at least $11bn worth of Australian gas.

Japan onsells more Australian gas than eastern Australia uses, and more than our forecast domestic gas shortages.

We don’t need new gas projects. We just need to use our own gas better.

Why are carbon offsets so bad?

1. They are used by big business to greenwash. Fossil fuel companies can offset the emissions of their offices, and then claim to be a 'carbon neutral' organisation.

2. Many of the offsets themselves completely lack integrity.

(spoiler: votes)

2. This is unlikely to change

The other reason: a significant proportion of the political class personally profit from the status quo.

Halving the fuel excise is bad for the environment and for most Australians won't deliver the cost-of-living benefits that are being spruiked.

This has got to go down as one of the all-time fumbles. Meanwhile, gas companies are laughing, making enormous profits, and paying minimal tax.

Our research shows over 80% of Australia's gas is exported. The solution to this "energy dilemma" is to cut exports. #auspol
