The point is that they will have to restart all over from scratch to regrow their account. The thing that bothers me tho is just multipost in the mean time. The reason people don't use this site is because there is not enough creators posting their stuff. They're only contributing further to that

i think the big hurdle for a lot of artists making the move from twt to here is perceiving less likes as less human engagement. but actually the opposite is true: you're more likely to get human reception here than on [the corpse of] twitter, because the high amount of bots = artificial likes
