This is how my painting started yesterday… I worked on it for 6 hours (the body) and fear I only made it over complicated and less beautiful…. Will probably go back to this blank slate again next time I work on it .

One of the worst things about our ongoing fascist coup is how much of it relies on people simply agreeing to treat facially absurd, illegal, unconstitutional, or abhorrent requests as if they had immense force behind them.
The list has around 30 people. I remain confused how so few unqualified dipshits can take over multiple government agencies and offices without anyone just saying nah and closing the door in their face.

This is true of *all* of Nazi ideology. It has to blitz and overwhelm you because it lacks both substance and popular support. The whole think is a an empty calories cupcake of resentfulness, mythology and destruction. None of these clowns have a coherent political ideology except “line my pockets.”
I think we should consider that Trump's fascist push is extremely reliant on momentum, on institutions not having time to say "wait a second, executive orders aren't laws, we still have a Constitution," and we should consider whether mounting setbacks are opening up an opportunity for counterattack

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.
