Humans put JavaScript on web-servers, the hubris of JS knows no bounds.

We have sinned against God and CVE-2025-55182 will be our penance.

I have no way of proving it, but the new crappy Microsoft 365 app icons look like they were at least partially generated by AI…

1/ The assassination of Charlie Kirk has prompted some to make comparisons with the death in 1934 of Sergei Kirov – a pivotal event in Soviet history. Who was Kirov, and what lessons can be drawn from his demise? ⬇️

I'm kind of torn on this. Autofill is a core feature for a lot of password managers and a big selling point to get non-techie people to adopt them.
At the same time it's often hit-or-miss in terms of site compatibility and it requires security compromises to implement.

A coworker alerted me to the fact that—starting this week—you now have to buy credits from Adobe to use the generative AI tools in the professional software we already pay a subscription fee to access, even if it generates something worthless…this isn’t a productivity tool, it’s a slot machine.

Flying is such a miserable experience but I'm not here for fake reminiscing about how good it used to be. "We used to dress up to fly and we ate steak." No WE didn't do that, rich people did. Only rich people could fly in the 70s. Enjoy your sky steak, Kenneth, you paid $3,500 for it.

People gotta get it through their thick skulls: Elon Musk is not actually good at business. Tesla would have died many times over by now, if not for outright fraud. The tactics he is using on government now have destroyed Twitter as an experience and business. His other companies aren't profitable.
