Finally cancelled my NYT subscription. What’s your favorite newspaper?
I'm still not clear why the @nytimes.com went along the idea that a presidential library owning a jet for the personal use of the ex-president was anything that real presidential libraries do. Weird.

the only approach to trump that has ever made sense was “slow him down as much as possible while rallying public support to your cause” and while most politicians, pundits, and big law partners don’t get this, some do, and lawyers in particular have the tools to act on that understanding
in the spirit of self-crit: in past years I have certainly been among those who have been vocally skeptical of the role of law and lawyers in meaningfully constraining armed agents of the state. but I do think we have to hand it to lawyers at this time

This is why Congressional Democrats should be breaking down the doors of whatever facility manages payments and seizing control of the federal treasury because people are going to die as a result of the budget they passed and the money they allocated not being distributed according to the law.

Remember when Elon Musk involved himself in the Thai cave rescue with what was considered to be an unworkable submarine plan? Now pretty much every federal office is going to be run like that, but without experts to actually do the work.
