My mom lives in a working class area of town and yes, the flags did come down there as well. I was so happy to see it. I really feel it's a socio-economic thing. People who have less feel the pain of his destructive policies more, people who have more just sit back and enjoy their lives.

I work in the rice industry and he was a farmer - the industry just sent out a daily news briefing saying he died of an aneurysm and heart attack.

I ALWAYS get responses from the Senators and have NEVER gotten a single response from my Congressman Kevin Kiley.
I won't stop. They work for us not the party. I encourage everyone to call or write your elected officials regularly.

I do hope so! I'm surrounded by a lot of MAGA - between work and family - and they just see things differently. I do engage with them and never talk down to them, just explain my perspective but it does not get through. Especially with men. The ones I know are very much brainwashed by Fox.

I get all your points and it probably comes down to people's socio-economic status. I work in an industry which is probably 98% or more Republican and they will pretty much will vote R all the time regardless.

I've got mixed feelings on Vance taking things over. I feel like no one likes him. He's like Ted Cruz.
There's definitely a Varsity team and a JV team in the administration - with Patel, Noem, Hegseth, McMahon part of the JV squad.
