Le Kenya vient de perdre l’une de ses plus belles plumes. L’écrivain Ngugi Wa Thiong’o est décédé mercredi, aux États-Unis, à l’âge de 87 ans. Il avait écrit plus d’une trentaine de romans, pièces de théâtre et essais. Ngougui wa Thiong’o n'aura jamais reçu le prix Nobel pour lequel on le citait régulièrement, mais au Kenya, il reste « un géant des lettres ».
