Some pictorial proof that I've always been a history nerd. Not sure when this is from, but likely '94 when I was about 10. I had seen the movie "Tora! Tora! Tora!" and dad recorded it for me the previous year.

21 years ago a single submarine of Swedish Navy sneaked past the extensive anti-submarine shields and sank air craft carrier USS Ronald Reagan in an exercise.
Sweden has since refined the stealth properties of the Gotland-class submarines and a newer class is under construction.

She was also part of the crew that sank Nimitz-class carrier USS Ronald Reagan in an exercise in 2005.
