Who are these terrible American journalists I'm always hearing about? Why do I have to know the names of these fucking weasels?

My brother once gave me a gift inscribed with “It is true, we shall be monsters, cut off from all the world; but on that account we shall be more attached to one another” from Frankenstein. He said it was a quote about us. 💜

A (now deleted) skeet of mine hit the Discover tab and everything they say about that wasteland is true. The sickly swarms of Blue Resists! The slavering, roving packs of Joke Understanders.

[crying] The Dog PFPs, oh lord.

Four decades back a major label released a debut album that sounded like almost nothing on earth while still sounding incredibly familiar. Our man in San Francisco Ned Raggett takes stock of it all

Happy Birthday to the JAMC's Psychocandy, which turns 40 today!

Electric illustrations, made my brain buzz and want to read the books again.
More Viriconium!

Figured I'd illustrate a piece that would theoretically be on a boxset containing the four volumes.

The full set of illustrations can be seen in the reply below! 👇

Adding this to my list of "very cool, chilled out but totally depressing" albums along with HTRK's Psychic 9-5 Club & Andy Stott's Faith In Strangers.

Clive Barker's "In the Hills, the Cities" is an all-timer, and John Bolton's art is equally awesome/nightmarish.

Class means two things in the UK, and a lot of discord is (purposefully) sewn by conflating the two.

Simply, there is class defined by economics. If you need to work to afford food and shelter, and you have no access to the profits your labour generates, you are working class.
My inlaws would disagree, they are pensioners who dont need to work but still consider themselves working class. Fair number of millionaire footballers who probably dont need to work would say so as well.

sirens of titan got me to a place of peace with an inherently meaningless universe that i never thought i’d reach. slapstick got me to understand how important it is to apply your own meaning to things. how maybe that matters even more than an inherent meaning ever could.
