Who would have thought a studio in Vancouver would list for $265K and not sell immediately? Let's ignore the fact that it's being sold "as-is" in a leaky condo building from 1994 with shared laundry only.

Canada won't forget their sacrifice.

Canada won't forget the U.S. betrayal.
Canada sent so many dedicated young people into the hellfire of Kandahar to help the United States.
Now they ridicule us.
JD Vance says he is tired of our "sob stories".
Trump says they never needed us.
Never again, America, Never again.

Someone was suckered into buying this leasehold False Creek townhome for $900K in 2022. The new owner renovated the property, and now it's available via court ordered sale for $689K. Lease to 2040 with the option to extend to 2060.

It's been listed since Sept 2025, still no accepted offer.

Bumped the price up to $649K and not surprisingly, it didn't sell. Taken off the market Jan 1st... will see what the sellers try to sell for in the spring. IMO there is a rather large glut of condos listed in the $1000 psf range in Vancouver and very few interested buyers.

So many specu-vestor tears in this Olympic Village building...

This 592 sqft "2 bedroom" unit was just listed at $568K
Purchased new in 2021 for $799,900 (+GST) = $839,895 (GST Incl)

A sale at list price would realize over $300K in losses... One of 13 units for sale in this building.

This 6 year old Collingwood condo next to Joyce Skytrain was heavily marketed to Asia - where buyers likely saw the Vancouver address and didn't realize it's near the Burnaby border.

Bought in 2022 for $732,600 (not sure if GST applied)

It's currently listed at $474,900

RiverSky condo at the New Westminster Quay... Seller has been trying to sell since Sept and has reduced the price further to $445K after failing to sell at $514,900 then $479,900.

Seller bought the unit in May of 2022 for $630K. If they get their price, they'd realize a loss of over $200K!

Feels like our neighbours to the South are on the brink of civil war... which is maybe reason # 39428 not to cross the border.
