Opportunity was sought for the indulgence of the wildest depravity. The suggestion of religious reflection only excited impious raillery, or blasphemous mockery; and in this polluted state did they remain contaminating and corrupting each other...

Is BlueSky debating the proper ratio of horny-posting to existential dread-posting?

The traditionalists are holding firm at a 60/40 split, but the new school is pushing for a 70/30, arguing that 'nihilism hits harder when you're horny.

Am I the only one completely suspicious that @taskmaster.tv has had a "museum heist" episode the same week the Louvre Museum has been done over!?

Would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a fish?

A fish won't do anything, but swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book
To fool the people is his only thought
And though he's slippery, he still gets caught

Constitutional checks on power is not terrorism. First Amendment protected free speech is not terrorism. Criticism is not terrorism. The right of the people to peacefully assemble and address grievances toward their government is not terrorism.

The deliberate destruction of Picturehouse Central - London’s best cinema and social space - by its rapacious landlords (the same guys threatening the Prince Charles) is an ongoing disgrace. So upsetting to witness. This place used to be thronged with people working and chatting and socialising.

Third power outage in about ten days.

Sitting by candlelight watching Masterchef Australia on the laptop, hot-spotting some internet from the phone and closely watching both batteries going down.
