I like Diogenes, early cynics were more like hardcore proto stoic. Some find it a struggle but I love how Vanlife is more simple way of life. I wonder if Diogenes would have like to have an engine and wheels on his barrel. 😅

This is my home now. Been living in this since July 1st. A 90s van I got for 2500$ cad.

I fixed the exhaust with some fiberglass « duct tape » and metal and otherwise the engine is doing good at only 93k!

I am going to do a lot of changes on it so follow me to see the transformation going 🛠️🪚🚐

On Cote-Nord in Eastern Quebec they have a lot of sea beaches with dead wood coming down the rivers, and doing beach fire is something everyone did. Hearing the fire pop and the waves crashing while you look at the stars is the most relaxing thing on earth.
