I think a resolution of mine is to read more.
I have a lot of unfinished books sitting around, and even more that I haven’t cracked open at all.

Magnus has a very sharp sense of direction. He mostly relies on scent and sound for this, though he also has excellent night vision. Even in a place he’s never been before, Magnus can get around pretty easily.

Humans actually have little focus in my story. The stars of the show are all nonhuman creatures such as vampires. Witches are the closest thing to what one may consider “human”, but even they are quite different when you get a good look.
