All things considered, I’ve personally had a pretty good year. I got to travel a lot and spend time with friends old and new. I ran and mostly finished delivering a Kickstarter project for two games. I made around 10 other zines and zine games and sold some. I boothed at 10 games/comics events.

This has been a monumental year for Xainan Esch from The Chaos Protocol on @transplanarrpg.bsky.social.

🐻 joined a sleuth of bears
⚾ learned how to hit a home run

The end of Arc 3 through the beginning of Arc 4 has been an absolutely wild ride.

He has black cracks across his face that interweve with his many scars. His markings are dark green and sweep back from the corners of his eyes at a sharp angle toward his ears. The two photos look identical but are taken on different days. (3) Cai as Xainan out in the world wearing a mask for safety. He wears a black, flat-brimmed hat and a grey and black scarf. (4) A photo of Xainan with his hair swept back and his black cracks on full display to the camera. The whole side of his face and head is covered in what looks like a tattoo. He wears a sheer shirt with a black spiked collar on it. (5 & 6) Photos of Xainan wearily looking at the camera still with black markings. Photo 5 is in the stream surround and 6 is not. 6 is also the last photo with the black cracks from Inferno. (7) Xainan in his leather jacket and shirt from Inferno but with his orange cracks and glowing green markings. (8) Xainan with his new, graphic green markings from Arc 4 that draw a sharp line over his right eye for the Apus Fuyumi System and his new costume with the grey and black geometric shawl with goggles over it and a black tattered jacket underneath. (9) Xainan holding a glass with clear liquid toward the camera in a red-light soaked photo dressed the same as the previous photo.
