Bloomington, IN. 🔭🧪
This stacks 34 x 8" (about 4.5 min total) on a crappy Nikon 55mm f/5.6 lens at ISO 1600. Some photoshop to clean up and accentuate the fall colors and increase contrast to see the *very* long tail.

The cloud cleared this afternoon, so I went with colleagues to look at comet C/2023 A3. I'd already read that it had faded quite a bit in the previous 2 days, and it was certainly hard to spot. Start of astronomical twilight (Sun 12° below horizon), invisible by eye; not brilliant in 8x40B. 🔭
