Cool to see Nioh 3 is coming.
Nioh 2 is one of my favorite games. As far as souls-like goes I feel it does pretty much the best job at having things feel unique without losing what's great about the genre.
Open world feels like an odd choice for the 3rd installment. I hope they can pull it off.

I agree. My mine two issues are,
The melee (including the finishers). They feel flat and too repetitive.
The dragon/mech. Dilutes the experience as a whole.
However I like the parry and the the weapons. I also like the slower combat pace. Environments are good, though secrets are too easy.

There's something about Doom: The Dark Ages that doesn't feel right, and I'm not quite sure what it is. Im trying to reserve my judgement until I'm done, but I'm having a hard time feeling like the game is pulling me in like Eternal did. What do you think it is? #Doom #DoomTheDarkAges #Gaming

Playing a little For The King with friends. Played back in 2019 I think. It's still a pretty fun game. Classic example of a game that is much more fun with friends!

Played some #Enshrouded yesterday. Not usually into survival games but it's pretty cool. The voxels for the terrain and building are cool.
On the other hand while the visual style of the game is nice I wish it was something more unique. Ideally something that took greater advantage of said voxels.

the director of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 apparently designed *that* nightmare optional Gestral Beach platforming challenge to be infuriating ON PURPOSE.

I gotta keep playing that game. I've just been doing so much with my new PC that it got left in the pile.

Glad to see another Sekiro fan. I like all the games but to me Sekiro is the best. I think compared to the others the only downside is that the replay value is lower.

Glad to see another Sekiro fan. I like all the games but to me Sekiro is the best. I think compared to the others the only downside is that the replay value is lower.
It's just such a focused experience compared to the others, really feels like less quantity more quality. Which I prefer.

I have to say I think it's a good move. In general I find mini maps to be bad for exploration and to take up too much space on screen. I'm also generally a fan of less clutter on the Hud and find a compass much cleaner in that regard.

Yeah you play 15min of Expedition 33 and there is like 10 absolutely beautiful people in their early 30s. Choosing the 16 year old for this comparison is so wild.

Been playing Destiny 2 again. I forgot how fun this game can be. Gosh there is so much to do though it can be overwhelming at first. Better than a lack of things to do though!

With successful TV shows and Movies base of video games having come out these days I wonder if some of the old lackluster movies will be redo or made into shows.
Right on my mind is Assassin's Creed. Which was pretty meh imo. A good show based on the Ezio Games might be more possible now
