Someone should tell him how much the oil industry gets in subsidies & the amount of renewable capacity you could build with that kind of investment. Pumping the $1.4 trillion provided directly & indirectly globally for oil each year into solar would make quite a difference.

Ok I see news reports lacking clarity. The two roadmaps announced by the COP30 Brazilian presidency on halting deforestation and transitioning away from fossil fuels are voluntary in nature. They were announced at the closing plenary without gavelling. They do not constitute a COP decision

A great summary of why farming insects for protein is probably not a solution to our food security and environmental challenges…

While it might have a niche role, it’s not nearly as effective as other solutions - plant-based diets, reducing food waste, etc.
