@jaysonst.bsky.social Here's a Weird & Wild tip/request: Scott Alexander's last four appearances have all come against the Phillies -- for two different teams! Two with the Rockies in May and twice this week with the Giants. He allowed 3 doubles, 3 homers, and a single in 4 innings in those games

Hot take: if you have the first pick in a draft you should have to make it immediately. I mean today especially, but having so much time and still being on the clock for five minutes is just insane. Complete waste of everyone's time.

The Democratic base is simply incapable of self-reflection. Heartbreaking.

I seriously hope you don't get left behind when the party is rebuilt from the ground up by the people who actually care enough to enact real, meaningful change in this country, rather than capitulating to The New KKK.
Unaffiliated leftists, for reasons that are beyond my understanding, seem unwilling to support the entire LGBTQ+ community and others from a fascist Republican government.

We wonder why this they fail to defeat fascism at home and abroad: it's because they promote fascism domestically!
Democrats, for reasons that are beyond my understanding, seem unwilling to support the entire LGBTQ+ community and/or Palestinian civilians being genocided at will by a fascist Israeli government.

We wonder why this party fails to defeat fascism at home: it's because they promote fascism abroad.

The official Universal Unitarian Church's position is that they are too privileged to worry about anyone other than themselves so they're willing to work to put Republicans into power despite all the harm they know that will cause to Americans and other people around the globe.

I think that sucks.
The Universal Unitarian Church's official position is as follows: if you're not willing to defend the rights of both the entire LGBTQ+ population (transgender- inclusive) *and also* Palestinian citizens being slaughtered by a corrupt genocidal Israeli government, you're a bad candidate.

Sorry to hear that the white Universal Unitarian Church's official position is to be opposed to a Black woman to be POTUS or is just that she was a District Attorney in San Francisco that makes you opposed to just her being POTUS?
Oh. In that case, yes, I am the official blogger for the Universal Unitarian Church. My favorite of the seven Principles and Purposes is, obviously, justice, equity, and compassion in human relations.

Pardon, it's been years and years since I attended a Universal Unitarian Church service and they aren't in the news very much. I do know that they go by UU so it would be horrible if you are associated with that otherwise nice organization.

what in the bright blue fuck is a "Universal Universalist"?
I hope that this boner dude's account name doesn't indicate that he's involved with the Universal Universalists. Perhaps from the school of dummies, University of Utah.

This number makes sense, to me. When my grandma went to the hospital for her chemotherapy treatments, she died 85% of the time they gave her CPR, too.
Although CPR has become synonymous with medical heroism, nearly 85 per cent of those who receive it in a hospital die. Why has it remained the norm?
The Hidden Harms of CPR
The brutal procedure can save lives, but only in particular cases. Why has it become a default treatment?

I'm thrilled to announce that I've been offered a NYT profile if I become an alt-right weirdo/pedo.

I'd like to thank all my followers who stuck with me through the good times and the bad, and especially my one true follower, my new lord and savior Jesus Christ, for his utmost faith in me. #blessed

"in theory" is doing so much heavy lifting in this sentence, it already qualifies for the highest weight class at the 2028 Olympics
President Trump ordered a broad investigation into whether Joe Biden covered up a cognitive decline while in the White House and was incapable of executing presidential decisions — an unprecedented request that in theory could undermine thousands of Biden’s executive actions and pardons.

Incredible to have two candidates in the NYC mayoral race trying to appeal directly to the "awful person" demographic. I hope they all eat each other.
