I’m only starting to unpack how weird it was growing up when they made kids cartoons & toys based on wildly inappropriate franchises.

I don’t care for the traditional effects of “cursed” items in D&D. I find them too ham-fisted with an obvious penalty.
I introduced my first cursed item in a one-shot recently; an amulet of defense that makes everyone (within 30’) aware that the bearer is in possession of a stolen item.
