I guess there are a lot of biologically female boxers who are feeling rather relieved.

Better late than never I suppose….

So ration/allocate comments from the different parties on Newsnight / Question Time etc according to representation at the local level!!

If most Americans can elect a convicted felon with a reputation for lying as US #President - how about giving a straight talking gay man - who can talk in complete sentences - a chance next time?
Pete Buttigieg packed a town hall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa!

Love to see him working with VoteVets!

Why don’t those who are accredited media invite those who have been accredited media in the past to be their guests?

Fight back by showing what your standards and morals are.
The fact that the corporate legacy media is even having this event shows how little they understand the moment we are in and how little they intend to fight back.

Support fearlessly independent media.

Seems like an eminently sensible idea to me.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

It would be nice to see more men aspire to becoming true gentlemen.

Sadly the degree of self-interest displayed by many suggests it won’t happen anytime soon.
My fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, has a creed you have to memorize and try to live up to called “The True Gentleman.” Curious if you think our current president is a “true gentleman”?

Is it any surprise given we’ve seen how profit-oriented managers / shareholders have totally neglected to renew and develop infrastructure while paying themselves humungous bonuses!
Just your regular reminder that the vast majority of us want public ownership of our key utilities.

Spot on!
📸 No one follows more etiquette rules than the Royal Family—but notice how King Charles didn’t make any smart-ass or demeaning comments about Zelensky’s attire today.

Why? Because respect isn’t about clothes—it’s about character. And that’s something money can’t buy.

Can the King now rescind the invitation to Trump to pay a State Visit?

Given the really shocking way Trump and Vance have just bullied Zelensky!

Thames Water needs to be brought back into public ownership. Ideally with notices served on all those who awarded themselves huge bonuses while they didn’t do work that needed doing.

#Water companies used to be run by people whose pay was on a par with civil servants. That was when works got done
To protect the interests of shareholder and creditors, the Thames Water board have put the safety of Londoners and Thames Valley residents, and our environment, at risk.

Its official privatised water can only continue to function by cheating the public. 🤯

Public ownership now

PFI was ALWAYS a recipe for unscrupulous private sector firms to rip off the government. Far too little regulation of how such contracts work.

A very important correction - an illustration of how dire national news papers have become.
* No standards.
* No fact-checking.
* No sound Editorial leadership.

RUBBISH JOURNALISM!!
The @Telegraph, @thetimes, @MailOnline & @TheSun publish corrections to their scaremongering on undocumented migrants in London.

Imagine between them the reach & power of these papers.
The fact is they are using that power to instil Trumpist hate & we are ill-equipped to resist.
