My dad (3rd from L and C in 2nd pic) was a miner in Dorion Ontario in 1943 when he & his buddies answered the call to enlist.

My fourth (and likely last) grandchild was born this morning and this grandma got a bit weepy when I learned that my son & his wife chose Maryanne as her middle name. Their dog (whom we’re minding) is pretty stoked too.

Attended my first ever yoga class today & it turns out, all those pre-hip replacement pre-hab exercises & the post stuff including those from my most excellent physiotherapist made me look like I fit right in. Looking forward to next week’s class! 👵🏻
