🚨 Laporta: “Barça are ready to sign a world-class player, but only if it’s really necessary”, told La Vanguardia. “Having too many big stars in the same coop doesn’t work, there are live examples of that around us…”. 👀

The combination of Virgil not playing well when it’s needed and his poor body language on the pitch when things are not going well is really not a great mix.
Talbi's goal was from 29 yards.

Liverpool have conceded four goals from 24+ yards in their last 11 games in league and Europe (also Caicedo, González, Doku). A bad run for van Dijk in particular.

They last conceded as many in a whole season in 2021/22, more in 2017/18 (six).
Deflected goal from a mile out because it's 2025/26.

Maybe short notice, but I'm also able to provide context around the upcoming "Messi vs Müller" MLS Cup final for UK/European outlets, as well as being open to World Cup work. I've covered US and Canadian soccer for years which I think would be useful for global outlets looking to cover the World Cup
I've been on the ground in the US to cover Copa America, Club World Cup, MLS, and the best competition of them all, the US Open Cup. In the Open Cup, I've reported from various locations, including Hartford, Yonkers, Cincinnati (so far Messi's only appearance in the tournament), and Philadelphia.

🚨🇩🇪 Arteta: “Kai Havertz is still weeks away”. “We are all desperate to have him. I mean it is a player that, personally, I love so much for what he brings to the team - his character, his personality. I see him suffer, being outside”.

The xGA gap between Arsenal and Man City is basically the same as the xGA gap between Man City and West Ham. So that’s good news if your team is not trying to win the league title.
