Dogs are better than people. Married mom of 2 teens in WA state. Blue Independent since 2017 until things shift or normalize.

The big dog Simon is a gift, though watching him age (he's 11) is tough. The little one Tweety is naughty and mean spirited toward the big dog, but somehow still worms her way into our hearts.
I can and will vote.

I'd like to say I'm not chronically online, but I doom scroll here... a lot.

Stay sane folks. For me, its dogs and nature. Edibles and sex make the list too, but not sharing those.

16 seconds of Lewis River Upper Falls. Lovely 3.5 mile hike outside today.

Exit polls from New Jersey and Virginia show the GOP lost overwhelmingly among all three voting blocs: voters under age 30, Black voters, and Latinos.

Political analyst Michael Podhorzer discusses why the Republican candidates in New Jersey and Virginia came nowhere near matching Trump’s 2024 support among voters of color and young voters.

#ncpol Charlotte has three Congressional Districts, it is certain that Bovino and the Border Patrol will only invade the district represented by Democrat Alma Adams, and not the districts represented by Trump toadys Mark Harris and Tim Moore.

You know, even though the Governor is a Democrat, its still a purple state. Strategically before midterms, this seems unwise for the administration.

This of course will not be lost on the likes of Vance, Hegseth, Rubio, Noem, Miller, Bondi and Patel. If Trump goes down, they go down with him. That incentivises them and the whole regime, including the thousands of DHS/ICE/BP/other goons, to seize total power and hold on to it, with blood spilled.
Brazil didn’t stop at sentencing former president Bolsanaro to 27 years for an attempted coup; his entire inner circle—from the vice president and the military commander to the intelligence chief and even his son—are also facing decades in prison.

America, this is what democracy looks like.

Many people dismissed the announcement Catholic hospitals will ban gender-affirming care nationwide under the assumption that there will be other options. In reality, Catholic hospitals make up as much 46% of options in some states. This map is 2020, prior to Trump’s assault on safety net hospitals.

It took LAPD quite a bit of time to finally take this “Border Patrol Agent” down with a taser, after clearly & repeatedly resisting arrest. I saw a brown protester w/ 💯 limp posture being DRAGGED 100 ft across pavement in IL. Anyway, where the GOON cries after directly asking for Bovino is worth it.

People always ask me what they should pay attention to that they probably aren’t already, and China/Taiwan is normally my answer.

China is really leaning into their ‘grey zone’ strategy and they’re putting a lot of pressure on Taiwan. They’re really hoping to provoke a response.
