What with this, and Marina and Richard on The Rest is Entertainment this morning confusing the idea of “pregnant people” as being used to include trans women (who of course can’t get pregnant, ffs, but trans men certainly can) it’s a great day for “oh but you can’t say anything nowadays.”

So in regards to this whole BBC shambles, it seems like the actual reason the top brass quit was because Trump was going to sue, and the right-wing press are choosing to also include some guff about the Beeb being Pro-Gaza and Pro-Trans just because they can?

I love Brad Lander. I just want him to hang around the city and say hi to folks. Called something like “the city’s buddy.” He asks if you need a coffee or something when he runs to the bodega. You have to venmo him after but he’ll round down and ask for less than it cost
